THY CATAFALQUE signs with SEASON OF MIST, reedition of Róka Hasa Rádió on EPIDEMIE RECORDS
One of the most original and most interested bands under our label, THY CATAFALQUE, has signed a contract for two albums with a famous French label, Season of Mist. We are happy from this succes! The collaboration between Epidemie Records and Thy Catafalque started in December 2008, in May 2009 we released very succesful album Róka Hasá Rádió which made from till that time almost unknown project one of the most respected names of temporary experimental post black metal scene. In July 2010 we released a reedition of the previous album from 2004 - Tünö Idö Tárlat. Due to the fact, that the first edition of Róka Hasá Rádió album (600 pcs in a luxurious eight pannels digipack) is almost sold out (we have last 30 pieces), we prepare a reedition that shall be released the 30.11.2011, but this time as a jewel case with eight pages booklet. So this is the last chance for you to get the digipack from the first edition if you prefer this format.

About Us
The beginnings of EPIDEMIE RECORDS stretch back to the 1993 when D.I.Y. hardcore / punk / grind label was born from a small underground zine and demo tapes distribution.
In the second half of the nineties, we got known as the label focused on the death metal and grindcore, sometimes overlapping to more experimental genres.
Actual profile of our label is very difficult to define. We produce different genres, but we prefer to release what we like the most: drone, ambient, black metal, funeral doom, avant-garde metal. We place emphasis on the graphic design and the whole process of releasing. We have succeeded to more than 70 releases.
In spite of the releasing activities we keep a large CD´s mail-order distribution.
Occasionally we engaged in organizing concerts and we do club festival PRAGUE APOCALYPTIC EVENING, which aims to present in Prague the best of the world dark ambient / folk / industrial scene.
