Album SOL INVICTUS z roku 2011. Digipack. The return of the Neofolk legend Sol Invictus are the godfathers of classic Apocalyptic Folk. "The Cruellest Month," their first album for six years, has turned out to be a typical Sol Invictus album in every regard. Music-wise, it is angular, combative, and painful, with pessimistic and cynical lyrics. The 17th studio album by Sol Invictus sees Tony Wakeford finding back to his true strengths, cementing the position of Sol Invictus as the spearheads of the Neofolk genre.

Apart from the customary high-quality packaging of all Sol Invictus re-releases (limited, portrait-format Digipak, revised artwork, liner notes), this new edition of "The Devil's Steed" also includes a new version of the song 'Looking For Europe' (as known from the homonymous Neofolk compendium) as well as previously unreleased demo versions of the tracks 'There Did Three Knights Come From The West', 'The North Ship', and 'The Devil's Steed.'

This new edition of "The Hill Of Crosses" comes as a limited, portrait-format Digipak with revised artwork, liner notes by Tony Wakeford, plus a bonus CD full of rare tracks. Apart from several songs from the deleted compilation of rarities, "The Angel", this CD also includes the tracks 'Leaves Of Life ('Stella Maris' LP Mix)' and 'God Told Me To ('The Hill Of Crosses' LP New Mix)', previously only available on the "Redroom" compilation.

Apart from the usual upgrading of our series of new Sol Invictus editions - such as a portrait-format Digipak, revised artwork, and liner notes by Tony Wakeford - the original album is going to be accompanied by seven bonus tracks: in addition to an old DAT recording of "The World Turns" and a version of "Somewhere In Europe" that was originally released on the Schock 7", you will also find five live recordings from a concert at Frankfurt's Sound Depot back in 1991.

Originally released in 2002, ‘Í Blóði Og Anda’ (meaning 'In Blood and Spirit') is the long-lost debut album from Iceland's SOLSTAFIR. A far cry from the refined and expressive post-rock of 2011's 'Svartir Sandar', ‘Í Blóði Og Anda’ is unique and primitive black metal (in the vein of early ENSLAVED). The album went out-of-print almost immediately upon its release, and has been out of circulation ever since.
