Ten years ago, in the early summer of 1999, Autumnblaze released their lyrical and epic debut album "DämmerElbenTragödie". To celebrate this anniversary, Prophecy Productions will release - in parallel with the new Autumnblaze studio album "Perdition Diaries" - a special edition of "DämmerElbenTragödie" as a double CD containing all official recordings by Autumnblaze preceding the "Bleak" era. This album is a reminiscence to the dark metal of the 1990s, to a time where the conventions of metal were trampled underfoot and the genre's conceptual chains were irrevocably broken from the inside. Eldron puts it more precisely: "Bands such as Paradise Lost, Anathema, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Dark Tranquillity, or At The Gates are prime examples for an exploration of the human soul, the struggle of the individual against the chasms of life. In celebration of their unplugged tour with Antimatter in autumn 2003, Autumnblaze re-recorded songs from the albums "Bleak" and "Mute Boy Sad Girl" for the acoustic album "The Mute Sessions". While the band combined trippy beats with rocking eruptions on their previous releases, the group around Markus B. show their proximity to classic singer/songwriters on "The Mute Sessions" to enchant their listeners in a much more intimate way.
