20th anniversary edition of A.M.G.O.D. in Digipak with 14-page folded booklet incl. Timo Kontio's liner notes and new art additions.
Finland’s symphonic black metal sweethearts AND OCEANS turned rogue with their third full-length and adopted a drastically more electronic music influenced style. As a result, A.M.G.O.D (2001) was much debated upon its release: both praised for its inventiveness but also misunderstood many fans.
Now, A.M.G.O.D is an integral part of the band’s discography and a must have to complete one’s AND OCEANS collection, released on vinyl for the first time.
For fans of EMPEROR, ABORYM, SAMAEL.

The fumes of Scandinavian black metal were poisoning the air and the second wave of black metal had taken a new form. …AND OCEANS emerged in this scene in 1995, with an exceptional and unique symphonic approach to the music. Still seeking the musical path to take, the Finns delivered a few demos before signing to Season of Mist shorty after. …AND OCEANS’ new album ‘Cosmic World Mother’, sees the Finnish metal outfit return to a ferocious black metal sound, combined with industrial and symphonic influences. The songs are bristling with creativity and energy, intertwining the …AND OCEANS sound with elements from the different projects the musicians have played in over the years.

A new yardstick for other purveyors of allegedly visionary, extreme Metal
It is the year 1895. The mysterious Gentlemen Club A Forest Of Stars publicises its fourth opus in the current format of a phonograph cylinder: "Beware The Sword You Cannot See".
With this offering, A Forest Of Stars make good on the promise given on the predecessor "A Shadowplay For Yesterdays" (2012). The compositions are more adventurous and bold, more eccentric and progressive, yet still melodic and accessible like never before. Conceptually, A Forest Of Stars likewise hark back to older issues and develop them further. Whereas "A Shadowplay..." depicted moral decay based on an individual fate, "Beware The Sword..." transfers the topics of demise and insanity into metaphysical spheres. Accordingly, the sound alchemists' music becomes more universal.
The effect of A Forest Of Stars' new album is similar to what the first mechanical reproductions of music at the end of the 19th century achieved: The...
The year is 1898. The Gentlemen's Club of A Forest Of Stars invites you to a midnight performance of their latest maniacal masterpiece, "Grave Mounds And Grave Mistakes". This exclusive brotherhood embraces the decadent, conflicting nature of their Victorian England, weaving sickly gin-tinged thoughts with bizarre, hypnotic melodies to fully express the decadence of their era.
120 years later, in the year 2018, A Forest Of Stars would be nothing less than one of the UK's leading Avantgarde black metal outfits. On "Grave Mounds And Grave Mistakes", the septet takes William Blake's proverb of Hell "Exuberance is beauty" as its principle, and celebrates lushness and excess in their music, lyrics and artwork. As an exploration of a struggle against insanity, it also represents the band's desire to revisit earlier works. A more atmospheric album than its predecessor, 2015's "Beware The Sword You Cannot See", this album has nods to the previous sonic explorations on 2012's "A Shadowplay...
The second release by these Victorian gentlemen
"Opportunistic Thieves of Spring" already is the second testimony of the musical-alchemistical skills of A Forest of Stars and contains a previously unheard-of ghostly and hypnotic music, filled with the spirit of the glorious Victorian Age - a harrowing testimony of their many spiritual and sensual excesses. Prick up your ears and listen attentively: A Forest of Stars are the future of British Black Metal, and the future starts right now!
he extraordinary debut album by A Forest Of Stars
With their experimental, psychedelic, and uncommonly individual debut album "The Corpse Of Rebirth", A Forest Of Stars had success in the Black Metal scene right from the start. The five hypnotic compositions that rarely clock in less than ten minutes are characterised by their own unmistakable signature and come across like an evil spell from another world.

Abominablood is an obscure entity from Argentina that plays a suffocating blend of Death Metal and Bestial Black metal that sears forth with unrelenting aggression yet maintains an eerie and evil atmosphere. Caustic vocals echo forth and saturate this MCD, setting a violent and disturbing tone with a distinct mythological theme.Fans of Teitanblood and Archgoat to modern beasts like Svart Crown and Desolate Shrine will surely find enough and more to sink their teeth into. 8 tracks of unearthly death and disaster mesmerize the unwary listener and ominously leads them towards their inevitable doom.

"Remember that ABRUPTUM is the audial essence of pure black evil and listening to it is at your own risk."
Official re-issue of ABRUPTUM’s seminal third full-length album “Vi Sonus Veris Nigrae Malitiaes” on a limited one-time CD pressing. Licensed directly from Full Moon Productions, “Vi Sonus…” is the ultimate ABRUPTUM statement, mainly because it is the only ABRUPTUM release that solely features the true ABRUPTUM mastermind, IT (RIP), who wrote and completely performed “Vi Sonus…” all on his own.
Captured by Peter Tagtgren in the Abyss Studios in 1995 and known as one of the most bizarre recording experiences Tagtgren has ever been involved with, resulting in “Vi Sonus…” being the ABRUPTUM release with the most monstrous, cavernous, and powerfully ambient sound out of the entire ABRUPTUM repertoire. Presented as one long improvised track (with careful mastering and edits for it to fit on the 2xLP format), “Vi Sonus…” is a nightmarish vision of blackened horrorscapes through...
