Just in time for the millennium, Fire + Ice came up with another genre classic: Ian Read gathered something of an all-star cast of the genre in the studio (Michael Cashmore, Douglas P. from Death In June, Joseph Budenholzer from Backworld, and Annabel Lee and Michael Moynihan from Blood Axis, amongst other notables) to record twelve songs that often reflect some of the more esoteric aspects of Norse mythology in a poetic manner.
